The NextGen EMR comes with a comprehensive suite of reporting tools. These tools enable you to create and run reports ad hoc or set them to run automatically on a regular schedule. Reports can be filtered across a variety of criteria. You can run a monthly report that details appointments by the provider, for example. You can save bookmarks and set recurring reports as well. NextGen EHR provides a variety of integration options that make it easy for doctors to connect the information they need to keep track of patients and their appointments.

13 features

With the Nextgen EMR Software, doctors can do everything from writing prescriptions to updating patient health records. Its patient portal and dashboard make navigation a breeze. NextGen integrates all practice management applications, including specialized content, a claims clearinghouse, and a patient portal. NextGen was built to fit into doctors' workflows and be accessible anywhere. While it does have a steep learning curve, videos and tutorials are available to help you become familiar with it. The software can be a bit slow in certain areas of activity, particularly during peak usage or after maintenance.

It supports the most common health data standards, including those from AAIM and the World Health Organization. The NextGen Connect engine is scalable and can operate on a variety of operating systems, including Windows and Linux.

Cost

Whether you're planning to implement a next-generation EMR or are already using one, it's important to consider the cost of the software. In order to find out how much NextGen EMR will cost your practice, consider your existing workflow and whether or not you need an extra set of hands to implement this solution. NextGen EMR is available in several different price ranges and can accommodate any type of practice. If you want to practice some other EMR system the Elation EMR might the perfect solution for you.

Stakeholder groups required

A successful NextGen EMR implementation requires the involvement of several key stakeholders. The first and most important group is the physician, who is ultimately the end user of the NextGen EHR. This group has to be involved throughout the implementation process to ensure the success of the system. The next group to get involved is the hospital staff, which includes both physicians and staff members. The physician staff and the other healthcare stakeholders must be involved in the NextGen EMR implementation process.

If you're looking for an electronic medical record, Meditouch EMR is a great choice. This software includes more than 20 medical specialties, and a patient portal, and is compatible with most billing systems. It also supports the iPad. Read on to learn more about this software. We also look at some of the benefits of using MediTouch EMR. We've summarized the pros and cons of this software for you. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to ask!

Patient Portal

The Meditouch EMR patient portal has a number of features that patients can use to make appointments, add or update medical records, and download or print copies of their records. Patients can also add medications and fill out chief complaints online before their visit. The physician or office staff will need to accept the clinical information before allowing access to the portal. There are two ways to set up proxy access: the first is to configure a calendar and send activation instructions via email to the patient. The second is to print a temporary username and password.

The patient portal should be user-friendly, but it also has the ability to display and annotate patient photos and records. In addition, the patient portal should let patients request prescription refills online. A patient portal should include a module for both the patient's information and the prescription request. This feature can be used in tandem with the patient portal for improved workflows. If you're considering switching to a new EMR, check out the Meditouch EMR patient portal.

Support for more than 20 medical specialties

The MediTouch EMR software supports more than 20 medical specialties. Its customizable features include voice recognition and interactive maps. It allows physicians to chart patients at the touch of a button and reduces the documentation burden. This software also has a prescription renewal function, eliminating patients' need to come to the clinic. Its pre and post-procedure care plans help doctors plan for surgery. It also helps reduce the chance of incorrect diagnosis.

The MediTouch EHR is a web-based, touchscreen-based electronic health record (EHR) that is designed for independent medical practices. It supports more than 20 medical specialties and runs on desktops, laptops, tablets, and smartphones. This EMR system is customizable for almost any medical specialty, including oncology. It also includes specialty-specific content, patient portals, and revenue-cycle management.

Compatibility with most billing systems

The MediTouch EHR is a cloud-based solution that combines medical billing, practice management, and an electronic health record. The integrated tools and user-friendly interface are designed to make healthcare easier and more convenient. HealthFusion developed the EMR software to address common problems that existing EMRs face. Rather than the traditional desktop or server-based solution, MediTouch focuses on the mobility of physicians and clinicians.

The MediTouch EHR is Meaningful Use Certified and one of the few EHRs that integrate billing, clinical, and clearinghouse. This system is also HIPPA-compliant and cross-compatible with traditional desktop and laptop devices. Its impressive list of features helped MediTouch EHR to be ranked among the top three in Clinical Quality of Care, Technical Support, and Meaningful Use. It is the only EHR recognized by J.D. Power and Associates. Check out other top systems from the EMR systems list.

Compatible with iPad

Meditouch EMR is compatible with the iPad, but is it native to the iPad? There are a few EMR software vendors that provide iPad-specific apps. The most notable ones are Dr. Chrono and Nimble. Nimble is an application that allows doctors to mark up images to give diagnoses. They can also use the iPad's camera to take patient photographs. Despite the limited number of iPad EMR apps, they are a solid choice for physicians.

One of the major differences between MediTouch EHR and other EHRs is that the iPad has a native interface. MediTouch EHR is designed to be user-friendly and intuitive on an iPad. It supports dictation functionality, which comes standard with most iPads except for the first generation. MediTouch EHR is also cloud-based and compatible with iPad, allowing physicians to access their patient's health records anywhere, anytime.
